Kaitlyn + Matt

Any time I get a chance to film at Machine Shop I am excited. Not only is it a gorgeous facility in itself, it’s very conveniently located near some of the prettiest places in Minneapolis and just walking distance from the Mississippi river. Matt and Kaitlyn’s big day was a quintessential Minneapolis wedding with views of the skyline, Mill City area, Stone Arch Bridge and the river.

Matt and Kaitlyn wanted to read their love letters with their backs to each other before the first look. I love the suspense this creates and it makes the video even more special because I get to capture their genuine reactions as they listen to their soon-to-be spouse speak straight from the heart. The emotion builds into the first look and you can just tell from Matt’s reaction how ecstatic he is to marry the love of his life.

The bridal party was an absolute blast and knew how to have a good time as we hit up several sites near the river to capture footage during cocktail hour. This continued into the reception and dancing with all the family and friends at Matt and Kaitlyn’s celebration. The next best thing to actually being there is to watch the film from their day!
